Tony Evans Steps Away from Ministry, Citing Old Sin

 Tony Evans, a well-known pastor and author, recently stepped down from his pastoral duties at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas. He cited "falling short of the high standards of scripture" as the reason for his decision. 

While the exact nature of his sin remains undisclosed, Evans emphasized it wasn't criminal but a lapse in judgment.

Evans will undergo a period of repentance and restoration overseen by church elders.
