Princess Catherine Reveals Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment

In a heartfelt video message released today, Catherine, Princess of Wales, revealed she has been diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing preventative chemotherapy.

She underwent major abdominal surgery in January, initially believed to be for a non-cancerous condition. However, post-operative tests revealed the presence of cancer.

Following this discovery, the Princess' medical team advised a course of preventative chemotherapy, which she began in late February.

"I am so grateful for the fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me," the Princess said in the message.

She also expressed her appreciation for the public's understanding and well wishes during her recovery.

The Princess' announcement comes after weeks of speculation about her health following her surgery and reduced public appearances.
